4-string fanned headless

This bass is a one-off build, inspired by the unique grain of the figured hickory that was used for the facing. The poplar body and Aguilar humcancelling jazz pickups combine for level of clarity and articulation that would be expected with a much heavier ash bodied j-bass. The subtle fan adds definition to the lowest notes.

master series custom 6

This was a unique Master build due to the exposed neck-thru construction. The most important detail about this bass is the full 19mm spacing at the bridge on a 6-string. This is the most effortless feeling neck I've experienced on a spacing this wide. The neck-thru and 35" scale give a nice clear fundamental for the lowest notes, while the alder body and electronics give a good punchy attack. Specifications:

35" scale, 24 frets (medium jumbo)

19mm @ the bridge

2.2" width @ the nut

three piece flamed maple neck

alder body wings

flamed maple body facing

morado fingerboard with pearl inlay

Bartolini CB humbucking pickups

Bartolini NTMB 3-band preamp

Hipshot Ultralite tuners black

Hipshot A-style bridge black

ebony knobs                                                     $3100
